As ILF Scotland’s Executive Business Manager, Aileen is responsible for leading the implementation and supporting the delivery of ILF’s strategic plan in a number of specialist work stream areas: HR, Health and Safety, Corporate Governance, Administration and Office Management.

Previously, Aileen worked within a Local Government Education department, thereafter moving to work in the charitable sector, working as the Executive Governance and Administration Manager at MS Society Scotland.

Prior to becoming ILF Scotland’s Executive Business Manager, Aileen worked at Albert Bartlett, managing the Chairman’s office and supporting the Executive Directors.

Colin Jardine

Position:

Business Administrator

Career:

Colin is ILF Scotland’s Business Administrator and is responsible for maintaining all HR records, as well as undertaking day to day office tasks.

Prior to joining ILF Scotland, Colin held a number of civil service posts, including Library Information Services and National Health Service Central Register, where he was part of a team responsible for producing an annual list of publications (issued by the Scottish Executive/Government) and updating patient records.

James Blair

Position:

Policy Officer

Career:

As the ILF Scotland Policy Officer, James is responsible for advising the Head of Policy and Senior Management Team. James supervises the complaint and discretionary review process. He worked at SDSS, supporting the Self-Direct Support Act implementation and played a role in the initial development of ILF Scotland. James previously worked in the Scottish Police Service as an equalities specialist and as an adviser to both the BBC Trust and Scottish Government on disability.
