ILF Scotland is excited to be championing the United Nations International Day of People with Disabilities from 30th November to 6th December!

The International Day of People with Disabilities is celebrated every year on the 3rd of December. This year, the theme for the day, “Not all Disabilities are Visible”, will shine a light on the challenges disabled people face when going about their day to day lives, especially during Covid-19.

ILF Scotland will be celebrating with a week-long campaign, sharing lots of stories and insights from recipients, focussing on the barriers they face and how this has impacted them during the pandemic. We aim to raise awareness of the importance of creating a future where disabled people experience equal opportunities and face no barriers in all aspects of their lives.
