Cait is a 21 year old baker from Dumfries and Galloway who has autism. Cait applied to the Transition Fund for money to start her own business, Cait’s Bakes, which is now into its second year of running.
We asked Cait to tell us about how her disability, which is not visible, affects her daily life especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. She said:
“People can look at me and they don’t understand. This makes me feel sad, lonely and frustrated.”
