We’ve Signed the Mental Health at Work Commitment

Post Date: 13 October 2025

We are proud to announce that our organisation has signed up to the MIND Mental Health at Work Commitment supporting mental health at work.

Why is this important?

There’s a growing recognition of the need to support mental health in the workplace. With so many resources, tools, and recommendations now available, the opportunity to make a meaningful difference is here. But beyond resources, this is about values. By signing up, we are making a public statement: mental health at work is and will remain a priority for us.

We are also joining a national movement. More than 3,800 UK employers have signed the Commitment, making it the largest mental health at work social movement of its kind. Together, these organisations are showing leadership and taking action to create workplaces where people can truly thrive.

What is the Commitment?

The Mental Health at Work Commitment is a simple, evidence-based framework based on the acclaimed Thriving at Work Standards. It sets out six clear standards, designed to help employers of all sizes create healthier, more supportive workplaces.

The six standards are:

  • prioritise mental health through a systematic programme of activity
  • pro-actively design work and culture to support wellbeing
  • promote an open culture around mental health
  • build organisational confidence and capability
  • provide tools and support to empower employees
  • regularly measure and share progress

Why does this matter to us?

Every organisation is on its own journey when it comes to mental health. For some, this is about starting new initiatives; for others, it’s about building on existing support. The Commitment gives us a flexible, practical roadmap and we decide the pace. What matters is that we are taking clear, visible steps to embed mental health as a long-term priority.

Last week we held a Mental Health & Wellbeing Week for staff. And that's just the beginning. Together, we’ll continue learning, sharing, and shaping a workplace where wellbeing is valued, conversations are open, and everyone has the tools and support they need to thrive.

Thank you for being part of this important journey.
