A Call for Views On: The Impact of Social Security Reforms on Disabled People in Northern Ireland

Post Date: 15 March 2023

The Equality Commission and the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission acting jointly, as the Independent Mechanism for Northern Ireland (IMNI), are seeking views from disabled people and their representative organisations on the impact of social security reforms on the rights of disabled people to:

  • live independently and be included in the community

They will be hosting online events to discuss this on:

  • Tuesday March 21st March (10am to 12pm)
  • Tuesday March 21st March (2pm to 4pm)

To attend please email: publicpolicy@equalityni.org Please indicate if you wish to attend the morning or afternoon event and if you require any reasonable adjustments.

Alternatively, please contact the Equality Commission if you would like to submit your views in writing or arrange an alternate date to meet with them to share your views.
