August 2023 is the one-year anniversary of the national launch of the Adult Disability Payment. To mark this milestone, Social Security Scotland are running a series of free online events for stakeholders across Scotland.
The most recent statistics show that Social Security Scotland delivered £109 million in Adult Disability Payments to more than 55,000 people from launch to the end of April 2023.
The events will explore what has been learnt from one year of delivering Adult Disability Payments. They will also discuss user research, current challenges and future plans.
Events are free and designed for stakeholders supporting adults with a terminal illness, long-term health condition, or disability.
