European Disability Conference Comes to Glasgow

In May, organisations from over 39 countries will arrive in Glasgow for an international conference on action in equity, diversity and inclusion.

The Europe in Action Conference takes place during Scottish Learning Disability Week and sees Learning Disability experts and campaigners joining a number of key debates on improving the lives of people with learning disabilities as well as discussing pioneering approaches to improve inclusion for more than 20 million disabled people throughout Europe.

The Conference takes place over three days in May from Tuesday 7th to Thursday 9th at Strathclyde University's Technology and Innovation Centre.

This event is brought to Scotland by Enable in partnership with Inclusion Europe.

This year, Enable are celebrating 70 years of influencing, impacting and advancing the rights and voices of disabled people both at home and abroad.

The conference will give over 400 in-person attendees - including individuals and over 100 organisations - over 40 hours of workshops, keynote speakers and networking opportunities.
