This year we are celebrating our 5th birthday and we turned five on the 1st July 2020!
Chair of the Independent Living Fund (ILF) Scotland, Susan Douglas Scott CBE, remarked,
"Happy birthday ILF Scotland! I can't believe how quickly the five years that I have been involved with the Fund has gone by.
"And the lovely thing about being involved with ILF Scotland is that disabled people tell us all the time how much they appreciate the Fund and how much they appreciate the support they get, because this fund enables people to be active citizens.
"It enables people to make choices about what they want to do in their lives and be in the driving seat of these decisions and that is a massive thing, it makes a huge difference."
Mary Louise McCord, recipient in Northern Ireland said, "Happy 5th birthday ILF Scotland! Thank you for all your help and support over the years and for providing me with much needed hope and for giving me a life."
