ILF Scotland Coronavirus Update

Post Date: 16 March 2020

In light of the latest Coronavirus (Covid-19) developments and in an effort to protect health and minimise disruption, ILF Scotland has taken the decision to suspend home visits to our recipients.

Instead, we will carry out 2015 Fund reviews through a combination of telephone calls, email and video calls. If you are due to have a review visit soon, one of our assessors will be in touch to advise further.

Otherwise, our day to day work will carry on as usual and we will continue to make payments. If you have a change in circumstances, we will still be able to process this. We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone. We will be flexible and supportive of any issues that you might face. Please contact us if we can help in any way. You can reach our specialist caseworker team on 0300 200 2022 or through email at enquiries@ilf.scot and they will be more than happy to help.

People will have been looking forward to our Northern Ireland Independent Living Fund events however, due to a number of cancellations, we have taken the decision to postpone these events until later in the year. We apologise for the inconvenience and will be contacting you shortly to gain your views online to support the potential reopening of Fund to new applications in the future.

If you have already paid any expenses to attend the events that are non-refundable, please let us know and we will do our best to reimburse you.

If you have any questions, please give us a call on 0300 200 2022 or email enquiries@ilf.scot.

Personal Assistant Identification Letter.

ILF Scotland has put together a PA identification letter to confirm that PAs are key workers and should be able to access priority shopping, pharmacy or childcare so that our recipients continue to recieve the support they need. Please download here.
