We are extremely sad to announce that Peter Brawley, the Chair of ILF Scotland’s Stakeholder Group, passed away on the 23rd July 2018.
As Chair of the ILF Scotland Stakeholder Group, Peter was integral to the establishment, and successful delivery of, this group. He played a vital role in supporting the improvement and development of ILF Scotland and ensuring ILF Scotland recipients were at the heart of the organisation’s operations.
Peter Scott, CEO of ILF Scotland said, “I am greatly saddened by this tragic news. I have known Peter for many years. He was always determined in his pursuit of human rights for disabled people, playing a pivotal role in the independent living movement for over 25 years. Peter’s contribution to the development of ILF Scotland, as the Chair of our Scotland Stakeholder Group, was enormous, and he will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with his wife, children, and grandchildren, and with his wider family, friends and colleagues.”
