Did you know that our Transition Fund enables young disabled people aged 16-25 to try something new, build their confidence and enhance their independence?
It’s really easy to apply – check out the steps you need to take and what you’ll need for your application below.
Who can apply?
If you’re aged 16 – 25, have a disability and live in Scotland, then you can send in an application.
Check out the full terms and conditions here.
What you can do with the funding?
The Transition Fund provides money for activities and things that help you:
This could be anything from driving lessons, to learning a new skill, joining a club, learning a sport or even starting a business – the possibilities are endless!

What documents do I need to apply?
You will need to provide proof of your disability or impairment. This can be any one of these documents:
Tell us about your goal
We’d like to hear what you would do with your funding. Tell us about your goal and how funding from the Transition Fund will help you to achieve it.
Tell us as much as possible about your goal, let us know how this will affect you personally and who (if anyone) will help you achieve this goal.
