St Mirren supporter, Stuart has Cerebral Palsy and has been a recipient of the Independent Living Fund since 2003.
“The ILF has improved my independence significantly in terms of getting out in the community and not being sort of stifled, and not being able to try new experiences.”
Stuart says the fund doesn't just help him as it enables him to reach out and help others in the community. It also gives his mum and dad peace of mind that Stuart's future needs are being met.
“Without ILF funding, my life would be quite mundane, quite a lack of purpose. The fund has given me more ways to be independent and more ways to enjoy life.”
