Great turnout for ILF Scotland Strategy Event

Post Date: 28 March 2025

We were delighted to welcome over 70 attendees to the Tollcross International Swimming Centre in Glasgow last month to take part in our Strategy Co-Production Event.

The event brought together Recipients, Award Managers, Disabled People’s Organisations, disability allies, local authority social workers and many more.

The aim of the day was to discuss what should appear in ILF Scotland’s Strategy for the next 3 years. Our Strategy sets out what we will focus on in the years ahead, putting disabled people at the heart of everything we do. In events held late last year, we gathered the views of attendees on what we should put in the strategy. The event at Tollcross allowed us to discuss these broad themes with participants and make sure we’re on the right track.

The day was filled with energy and excitement as people gave their viewpoints and feedback. One attendee commented that it was “inspiring to see the dedication and passion behind the work you all are doing” while another said that “it was nice to be consulted and heard”.

Here are a few of the photos from the day.

The feedback from the event will be used to finalise our Strategy which will be published in the coming weeks. Come back to our website or follow our social media channels for news on its publication.
