You can also access a transcript of the speeches.

The report outlines the next steps for co-design of the National Care Service, which is being shaped by people who have experience of accessing and delivering social care support.

It has been prepared in plain English and is also available in easy read, with a summary version available in BSL and audio.

A report on three regional events that took place in the autumn in Edinburgh, Hawick and Aberdeen has also been published and is available at www.gov.scot/ncs

Background

On 20 June 2022, the National Care Service (Scotland) Bill was introduced to the Scottish Parliament. The Scottish Government is aiming to deliver a National Care Service to improve health and social care services in Scotland.
