Mark is an experienced executive and non-executive director, with a passion for equality and social justice.
He has over 30 years’ experience in senior roles – using his change, transformation, HR and people skills – with executive positions in utilities, NHS, higher education and not-for-profit sectors. His roles include People or HR Director, Business Services Director and Chief Executive.
Mark also has over 10 years experience as a non-executive director of Social Investment Scotland, Scottish Public Pensions’ Agency, Scottish Squash and an NHS subsidiary company. He has been Chair, Chair of the Finance Committee and is more usually found as Chair or a member of the People, HR, remuneration or staffing committees.
Mark now has a portfolio of non-executive board roles, alongside his own leadership development and executive coaching practice.
Mark is also a Chartered Director and fellow of IOD and CIPD and brings his experience of governance and passion for people to the board.
