ILF Scotland

A message from our Chair and CEO following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

Post Date: 12 September 2022

"On behalf of everyone at ILF Scotland, we offer our deepest condolences to the Royal Family following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Balmoral on the afternoon of Thursday 8th September.

"It was only a few months ago, in June of this year, that we celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, marking seven decades on the throne.  At this sad time we would like to thank Her Majesty for these decades of dedication to serving the public of the UK and the Commonwealth.

"ILF Scotland will be adhering to the period of national mourning.  Although we will continue to operate throughout this period, as a mark of respect all external communications have been paused unless critical to our services.

"The date of Her Majesty’s funeral, Monday 19th September, 2022, has been announced as a Bank Holiday.  Our office will be closed on this date.

"Please take good care of yourself and each other during this time."

Chair of the Board, Susan Douglas-Scott CBE
Chief Executive Officer, Peter Scott OBE
