How the Coronavirus pandemic is affecting disabled people in Scotland.

Post Date: 22 April 2020

As the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic continues to impact all of our lives, two organisations are looking for the views of disabled people in Scotland during this time.

The Scottish Commission for Learning Disability (SCLD) and Inclusion Scotland are looking to find out what barriers disabled people are facing and what positive experiences they have had during this time. The purpose of these surveys is to find out what is happening to disabled people and find out what changes they might need.

This information will be used to inform key decision-makers of what changes need to be made for disabled people during this time. These surveys aim to inform them of what is needed to help people with disabilities and their families and supporters not only stay safe, but also look after their wellbeing during the Coronavirus emergency.
