Race Equality Strategies and Policies
Please provide us with copies of:
A) All published policy and/or strategic documents relating to race equality produced by your organisation from 1999-2021, including (but not limited to) race equality strategies, action plans and public sector equality duty publications, including progress reports and updates
B) All other published policy and/or strategic documents containing commitments or actions that pertain to race equality published by your organisation from 1999-2021, including progress reports and updates
Our meaning of 'race equality' within this request is in line with the Equality Act 2010 and would therefore include related concepts using different language, for instance race relations or diversity - anything related to equality/inequalities for minority ethnic people.
A) ILF Scotland are not currently listed under the Equality Act 2010 (Specific Duties) (Scotland) Regulations 2012 and as such we do not have a public duty to publish equality information in the same way that a listed authority would.
B) In 2020 ILF Scotland created an Equality Duties Action Plan which is currently held as an internal document. Following receipt of your Freedom of Information (Scotland) request we have taken the decision to publish this document on our website. This may be of interest to you and can be found on our website under Publications and Documentation.
