The Independent Living Fund Scotland have recently published their Business Plan for 2026 through to 2028.

The main purpose of the Business Plan is to drive our activity in order to meet our Strategic Objectives as set out in our current Strategy, Realising Ambition – Re-Opening and Beyond.

Our main ambition over the next two years is to gain at least 2,000 more Independent Living Fund Recipients. We also want to look at our highly successful Transition Fund to see just how much impact it has made to the young, disabled people it has supported. And we aim to develop our new Coming Home Fund to help as many people as possible with learning disabilities return to their communities from inappropriate placements.

Paul Hayllor, Director of Digital and Information Services, said: “We are really excited about launching our new Business Plan. It’s an ambitious document that really sets out what we want to achieve over the next two years and I have no doubt we can rise to the challenge and meet all our goals. Our main thought is always for the disabled people we support and this plan puts them clearly at the heart of our work.”

The Business Plan has been provided as a PDF document, in HTML and is accompanied by a video presentation with a voice over to make it as digestible and accessible as for as many people as possible.
