Your local authority will submit an application online to ILF Scotland. When we receive this, we will check that it has all the required information we need and that it meets the access principles for the Coming Home Fund.
If we need more information, we will get in touch with your local authority.
All applications will be assessed by ILF Scotland on a case-by-case basis. If your application does not meet the access principles for the Coming Home Fund, we will notify your local authority, who will contact you to advise you of the decision.
If the application contains all of the required information and meets the access principles we will contact the local authority representative who made the application to arrange an assessment visit. This will be undertaken by an ILF Scotland Coming Home Assessor who will ask the local authority representative to be present at that visit.
After the assessment visit, we will decide whether funding can be offered. If the application is successful, we will send the Award Manager an offer letter, an Agreement Form and a copy of the Your Responsibilities Guide to help manage the funding agreed. We cannot make any payments until the completed Agreement Form has been returned to us.
