Coming Home is a national Scottish Government and COSLA programme helping people who have learning disabilities to leave long stay hospitals or inappropriate out of area placements and to move into homes in their communities with the right support. It will also support people with learning disabilities whose current community support may be at risk of breaking down, enabling them to continue living in their own homes.

Engagement Events

We held two drop-in Engagement Events to find out your views on what you'd like to happen - one aimed at professionals who work with people with learning disabilities and complex needs and one aimed at people with learning disabilities and complex care needs, their families and carers.

Thank you to everyone who attended these events and shared their stories and experiences.
